ModCom® 3 Series | Heavy Duty LED Floodlight

Overview

The ModCom Series was the first durable, high powered LED floodlight to arrive on the market in 2010. Today, the upgraded ModCom 3 Series incorporates a wide variety of end user and industry feedback, as well as the most durable components and rugged design features. The ModCom 3 continues the focus of purpose-built and engineered lighting for electric rope shovels and draglines. It is the go-to LED floodlight for the global mining industry, leading equipment manufacturers, and hazardous locations.

The ModCom 3 delivers powerful illumination at 130 LPW, providing more light for less cost. It has survived extensive testing, including: temperature, impact, vibration and salt spray. It now also includes heat monitoring technology, which will preserve the life of the fixture in extreme heat, dust, and debris.

The series is available in three different sizes – LO, HI and MAX. The versatility of multiple lumen outputs combined with a range of customized optics deliver superior light for equipment operators and/or work environments. A patented no-glare/ perimeter optic delivers light only where it is needed and minimizes glare to operators. The ModCom 3 is available in 5000K, 4000K and Amber color temperature options. All models have a dimming capability which allows users to adjust light intensity to their preference.

In addition to mining equipment, the ModCom 3 is designed for hazardous applications, commercial and military maritime vessels for waterline perimeter lighting, general purpose topside lighting and portal crane lighting. It is certified for a variety of locations and environments, making it the ideal LED floodlight for your project or equipment.
